2002 Week 6 Raiders vs. Rams Highlights
From October 13, 2002. The undefeated Oakland Raiders (4-0) battle the winless St. Louis Rams (0-5) at the Edward Jones Dome. QB Marc Bulger's first career start in the NFL is against the early league MVP candidate, QB Rich Gannon. There's a strong HOF supporting cast for both QBs in this game... Marshall Faulk, Isaac Bruce, and (hopefully soon) Torry Holt vs. Tim Brown and Jerry Rice. Bulger and the Rams look for their first win of the 2002 season in an upset over the last unbeaten team in the NFL.

I was so rooting for the Bucs to win this game. How great would it have been that a team that not 3 years prior spent the first 26 games if their existence losing only to go to the Super Bowl in it's 4th season. After this they would have 2 more winning seasons but get blown out twice in the playoffs by the Cowboys then go on a 14 year run of futility until broken in 1996 when Tony Dungy took over.
Watching these old highlights make me smile......what a time to be a Rams fan!!!!
To this day idk why a lot of people started hating the Buccaneers' orange uniforms.
I watched this game also and was so disappointed that the Buccaneers couldn't put anything together to win the game

It’s 2025. Watch the views for these old NFL games ( especially from the 70s) explode as today’s rigged NFL continues to implode. What I’ve been watching lately is a disgrace! These old games were just awesome - without all the gesticulating after every 5 yard gain like we see today. These were two of the greatest defenses ever.
Just like in the Dallas game the week before, the Bucs gave Ferragamo too much time to throw.
I remember, being 11 years old & id been a big Bucs fan since they became a team cause I loved those unis & logo (and I rooted for underdogs a lot). I suffered with them & this was the first season they were good. I was so excited for this game & it’s still the most boring game I can ever recall watching. The Bucs were just terrible in this game. Doug Williams had a horrible day & after he got hurt, the backup had a horrible day. Ricky Williams had a horrible day. The only aspect that was any good that day was the defense & they were out there for almost 3 quarters. 46 years later & I can still remember how tough it was to watch, both as a Bucs fan & football fan.
who coached the defense here
Is that Billy Bob Thornton on commentary?
AWESOME 👏
🎉🎉🎉
Dan Bunz goal line tackle in SB 16 is my ‘The Tackle’
they really found it hard to stop the STAMPEDING RAMS of the 1999-2000 season
I can only imagine what Skip Bayless, Stephen A Smith, Twitter, Get Up, and First Take would've said about this game...
Dick jauron was a good coach with a poor qb
That was one hill of a throw completed to Waddy between at least 6 Cowboys and a fantastic catch and run afterward.
Vermeil did a masterful job
Actually kinda reminds me-in reverseLOL- of the Treavon Henderson dagger through Texas in the Cotten Bowl.
This was basically the "ending of the Landry run" RIP a great coach and person- the Cowboys would , sadly, lose the next 3 NFC championships-for most teams those are good years but for old school Cowboy fans they were failures. Now the Cowboys, do love them, have done little in 29 years.
Thanks for this
Dick Vermeil was fantastic knew all 3 sides of the ball first special teams coach in nfl history 1969 the Rams under George Allen
Marshall may not be the best rb all time, but he is the smartest!! There is no Greatest Show on Turf without him......he made that offense run!!!!
The Bob and Weave, cancelled by your friends from the No Fun League.
You are my Goat for these memories Daniel Leu. Thank you frfr
Way to shut up those enthusiastic Giants fans.
that pass should have been intercepted
Moss turns into cancer whatever team he played on. Ungodly talent, horrible person.
Not a Rams fan but probably my favorite team of all time looking back. Was fun to watch.
I love the rams great win 😊 i bet on rams to win 2 minutes and 5 seconds make total 7 touchdown rams win superbowl 34 😊.
Still got my foam noodle and will be in SOFI on Monday Night!
Best season in Rams's team history.......1999-2000
And Andy reid is still coaching 25 years later.
Imagine being a defensive coordinator for the opposing team and YOU had to put together a game plan to combat the Rams offense. Plenty of nightmares for the coordinators I'm sure.
Rip Air Mcnair
Daniel, your dedication to the Rams is legendary as is your editing skills. Top notch!
The wizard of Az
I remember this game. Mannn... I had goose bumps when Warner was QB... cause I knew the Lord was with him, from being a grocery guy... and then became a awesome NFL QB. I knew he had a story on him to tell. WHAT GOD CAN DO!!!!!!!!
I used to love those orange and tangerine uniforms. I thought they were so cool.
Me too. Still my favorite uni & logo ever.
@@goldenageofdinosaurs7192 Greatest NFL Logo of ALL TIME!! Could have done better with the color scheme though (today's Tampa Bay colors with the original logo would have Really been Cool!!!)
Yeah they should’ve kept the colors, nothing wrong with them.
They were very cool and different. Now they wear these krappy uniforms
@ I know , i never liked the colors they have now.
What always makes these wins even sweeter is the fact that Steve Mariucci who had cut Kurt Warner when with the Packers, now had to watch and eat crow as the 49ers were swept by the Rams in 99.
Kurt is just a badass, grinder. Would have made it in the NFL in any era. We just don't know what's inside a man, not even when we show our skills. It isn't until there's turmoil, heartbreaks etc...then the real man is exposed. I just watched a special on Lee Trevino again; learned to hit golf ball with bottles; was a golf maintenance kid, a navy guy. Out of nowhere, US Open Champion...and then even years later, was proud of his PGA Pro card, as that meant he could always go back to teaching golf in some public golf course if things went south, which they never did. Warner has been badass ever since he was born pretty much too. Love these stories.
Mitchell was terrible. No pocket awareness, happy feet.
If it wasn't a face mask on faulk by#42 it was a td!
Todd Liyth was great defender
It's pronounces "Lyght"
@@davidsantoselmellodelamarg4923 He was..... and Keith Lyle too!! Rams secondary was underrated!!! Rams D was nasty too that year!!!
I love it
That RAMS TEAM .. WAS REALLY GOOD. AND I AM A JETS and GIANTS GUY.. UNBELIEVABLE.. THE RAMS WERE REALLY GOOD... THOSE YE
Years EARNED.
Got john madden feelin all giddy
Dallas secondary was a weak link in the defense Bradshaw burned them the year before in SB13 as well. Dallas would kick the Rams ass the next year 30-14 still this was a horrible loss to an inferior team at home. Roger Staubach's last game but,he won 2 SB played in 4.
I love that play I love it
i was just doing qb research and stumbled on Bulger, looked for his best game in his best season and here i am
